MixMob Season 2 Launches with Over $50,000 in Crypto Rewards
Card battle racing game MixMob is set to launch Season 2 on September 17, introducing over $50,000 in cryptocurrency rewards.
Players will compete for exclusive digital collectibles, including limited-edition skins inspired by the Stormtroopers from the popular Star Wars franchise.
The new season will also bring fresh tracks and secret pop-up events, providing additional opportunities for players to earn in-game rewards and crypto prizes.
What is MixMob?
MixMob is a web3 game built around three core activities: Racing, Raiding, and Remixing.
Players, known as MixBots, engage in these activities as they strive to restore creativity and culture in a world controlled by the AI Helix-9.
Racing: Racing is at the heart of MixMob, where players customize their MixBots and compete in high-speed races. These players seek both adrenaline and admiration as they challenge opponents on the Surface, pushing their skills to the limit to achieve MixMob immortality.
Raiding: For those who prefer to avoid direct confrontation, Raiding allows players to level up their MixBots by exploring the Surface and raiding for valuable resources. Successful raiders not only level up their MixBots but also earn in-game treasures that can be used to improve their performance.
Remixing: MixMob empowers players to become creators within the game. Through the MixMob Marketplace, anyone can design and sell custom looks and fashion for avatars and MixBots, allowing players to build their own cultural influence and become trendsetters within the MixMob community.
MixMob integrates two key tokens into its ecosystem—$MXM and SUD$. $MXM is the game’s primary governance and utility token, used for purchasing items, entering races, staking, and participating in Pop-Up Arenas. Whilst SUD$, a soul-bound token, remains within the game’s internal economy and is not subject to market fluctuations, offering a stable in-game currency.
The game is currently in Open Beta and is playable on Android, iOS, and web browsers.
What to expect from Season 2?
Season 2, titled MixTroopers Arrival, marks a significant update for MixMob, offering players new ways to engage with the game and earn rewards.
The highlight of the season is the introduction of MixTrooper skins, inspired by well-known pop culture franchises like Star Wars. These skins will not be available for direct purchase and can only be unlocked by completing daily missions and performing well in races.
In addition to the skins, the season will introduce the HyperDrive Rally track, designed to challenge players with fast-paced gameplay and intricate turns. Players will also need to keep an eye out for Pop-Up Arenas, which will appear at random times, offering the chance to win rare in-game assets.
These arenas are inspired by pop-up culture and will be available for a limited time, rewarding quick and strategic participation.
How to earn rewards in Season 2?
MixMob players can earn $MXM tokens through racing, completing daily missions, and staking their tokens for additional rewards.
The Battle Pass system will track progress throughout the season, allowing players to unlock further rewards as they advance. Credits, earned by completing missions, can be used to purchase in-game items, skins, and cryptocurrency.
Another new feature of Season 2 is the MixTrooper sticker set, a collection of stickers that players can gather by winning races and participating in tournaments. Completing the full set will qualify players for an exclusive end-of-season airdrop, which may include rare in-game items or cryptocurrency rewards.
For competitive players, Season 2 will include the MXM League, with weekly tournaments where players earn League Points. The top players at the end of the season will qualify for the MXM League Championship, where they will compete for the season’s largest rewards.
Players can also join teams to compete on the Crew Leaderboards, with shared rewards for successful teams.
