Solana Mobile, a subsidiary of Solana Labs, has revealed its upcoming web3-enabled smartphone, the Solana Seeker, scheduled for release in 2025.

With over 140,000 units already sold through presales across 57 countries, the Seeker has attracted significant interest within the web3 community.

This new device follows the earlier launch of the Solana Saga and is expected to further integrate blockchain technology into everyday mobile usage.

Solana Seeker Features

The Solana Seeker includes a range of features aimed at enhancing user interaction with ddApps and blockchain-based assets:

• • Seed Vault Wallet: A self-custodial mobile crypto wallet built directly into the device, providing users with simplified account management and secure transactions. The Seed Vault is designed in collaboration with Solflare.
  • Solana dApp Store 2.0: An upgraded version of the decentralized application store, which includes a rewards tracker and expanded app categories like payments, DeFi, and NFTs.
  • Seeker Genesis Token: Each device includes a soulbound NFT that unlocks access to various rewards and exclusive content within the Solana ecosystem.
  • Hardware Enhancements: The Seeker improves upon its predecessor with a brighter display, extended battery life, and a lighter design, all aimed at improving the overall user experience.
